(Austin, MN) — A 22-year-old South Dakota man has been sentenced to ten years in prison for his role in the murder in 2021 of a man from Austin, Minnesota. Keith Lavandas Forrest from Sioux Falls pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting in the murder of 45-year-old David Harris from Austin. Another Sioux Falls man — 19-year-old Miguel Nunez Junior — already pleaded guilty to his role in Harris’ murder. Prosecutors say Harris’ murder was the result of a drug deal gone bad.
