(Libby, MT) — The man accused of running over a Montana Highway Patrol Trooper in Lincoln County is due back in court next month. Jason Miller was charged last week with attempted deliberate homicide, criminal endangerment and criminal mischief. Miller allegedly hit the trooper during a police pursuit in Eureka earlier this month. Trooper Lewis Johnson was left with several broken bones and injuries to his internal organs. The agency says Johnson has a ways to go until he’s recovered.
