ND Industrial Commission Funding Bill Headed To Senate

(Bismarck, ND) — A North Dakota Industrial Commission funding bill is headed to the state Senate. The state House passed a bill yesterday that would allocate money to the commission and agencies such as the Department of Mineral Resources and the Clean Sustainable Energy Authority. It also would fund the development of salt caverns for gas or liquid storage, upgrades to electric resiliency and transmission, and a study into the feasibility of mining rare minerals. The bill gives departments three-million for each industry towards any litigation against them.
