(Bismarck, ND) — A concurrent resolution is under consideration, asking for a study of several highways within the Fort Berthold reservation. Supporters say the study would help ensure adequate safety measures are implemented on the aging roads. The measure would also create a safety corridor on both Bureau of Indian Affairs routes and the state’s highways. The bill would also increase the speed limits on State Highways 22 and 23 up to 55 miles per hour.
