(Bismarck, ND) — The North Dakota House is reconsidering the state’s front license plate requirement. Supporters say the front license plate is redundant and requires some drivers to drill holes in their bumpers to put the plate on. Several law enforcement agencies are speaking out against the bill, saying removing front plates will make it more difficult to report criminal behavior. The legislation has been introduced several times in the past.
