(Bismarck, ND) — The United States Department of Agriculture is continuing to invest in meat processing facilities in North Dakota. USDA Rural Development awarded the Lewis and Clark Development Group five million dollars to support expanding meat and poultry processing in North Dakota. The funding is in addition to ten-million previously awarded to the group with the aim to help establish a revolving load fund to support producers, processors, and consumers in the state.
