(Fort Myers, FL) — The Twins scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the ninth to beat the Baltimore Orioles 7-6 in Spring Training at Hammond Stadium. The Twins scored both runs on wild pitches from the O’s. Jose Miranda went deep in the victory, and Kenta Maeda gave up a run in two-and-two-thirds innings of work. Minnesota improved to 5-and-6 in exhibition play. Bailey Ober starts for the Twins against the Blue Jays today. In other team news, the Twins sent highly-rated prospect Austin Martin to minor league camp.
