(Bismarck, ND) — A bill that would name curling as North Dakota’s official sport is headed to Governor Doug Burgum’s desk. The legislation passed the state House yesterday, and won approval from the Senate in January. No word on whether or not the governor intends to sign the measure. North Dakota has the most curling clubs per capita of any state. The first curling club in the state was established more than 120 years ago in Drayton.
