(Helena, MT) — Montana’s chief executive is celebrating the state’s unemployment rate. Governor Greg Gianforte announced yesterday the rate fell to two-and-a-half percent in January, tying the all-time low. He said it was also the fourth lowest in the country during that month. Gianforte praised Montanans for setting records for employment, and business and job creation. The governor’s office added total employment rose in the Treasure State by more than 14-hundred jobs in the first month of the year.
