(Minnehaha County, SD) — A South Dakota Trooper has survived a serious weather-related crash. Authorities say a semi struck the back of a trooper’s vehicle yesterday on the side of eastbound I-90 in Minnehaha County and came to rest on the patrol car. The trooper walked away with minor injuries. Officials believe the crash was preventable. The semi driver was cited for overdriving the road conditions.
