Wild Stay Quiet Against Calgary

(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild didn’t make any noise on offense during a 3-1 loss to the Calgary Flames at the Xcel Energy Center. Minnesota surrendered two goals in the first period, but Pat Maroon lit the lamp in the second to bring the Wild within a goal. However, Calgary sealed its win with an empty-netter in the final minute. The Wild remain in seventh place in the Central Division with 36 points and a 16-16-and-4 record. Minnesota hosts Tampa Bay tomorrow night.
