(Sturgis, SD) — Sturgis is planning to add a race through the downtown streets to close out the annual motorcycle rally. The Rally used to incorporate street racing and wants to bring it back again. AMA Pro Racing will feature a flat-track style of racing that includes three different styles on a half-mile loop. The deal is still in the final stages and could be finalized as soon as next week. Sturgis Director of Communication Deb Holland says the city is working to ensure safety is a top priority for spectators.
