Broncos Open To Russell Wilson’s Return

(Englewood, CO) — The Broncos aren’t parting ways with quarterback Russell Wilson just yet. Denver owner and CEO Greg Penner, general manager George Paton and head coach Sean Payton all said on Tuesday that no decision has been made on Wilson’s future with the team. Wilson was notably benched for the final two games of this season after he was asked to make an adjustment to his contract and didn’t. Should the Broncos release Wilson this offseason, the team would deal with 35.4-million dollars in dead money in 2024 and 49.6-million dollars in 2025.
