(Bismarck, ND) — Funeral arrangements have been made for former Republican North Dakota Senator Dwight Cook. He died on Sunday at age 72, and his funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 19th, at Zion Lutheran Church in Bismarck. The service will be open to the public, and the burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery. Cook was first elected in 1997 and served in the North Dakota Senate for six terms. His legislative experience spanned more than two decades.
