Knudsen Speaks At Impeachment Inquiry Hearing

(Washington, DC) — One of Montana’s leaders is making his case against the U.S. Homeland Security secretary. Attorney General Austin Knudsen was in Washington, D.C. yesterday to speak as a witness during an impeachment inquiry hearing against Alejandro Mayorkas. He was one of three Republican state attorneys general to give remarks during the hearing, criticizing Mayorkas and President Biden for poor border security that they claim has impacted their states. Knudsen said the pair have “poured gasoline on this fire,” noting fentanyl seizures have gone up in Montana since Mayorkas took office. He believes all of the fentanyl was trafficked across the southern border with Mexico.
