(Brookings County, SD) — Hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages are being reported because of a fire in Brookings County. Eight agencies from the county responded to a business ablaze in a rural area there. The shop had a semi-truck, tools, other vehicles and shop equipment, according to the sheriff’s office. Damage to the building is estimated to be one-hundred-thousand dollars, and the damage to the trucks and equipment is around two-hundred-thousand dollars. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
