(Pierre, SD) — South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley wants the use of artificial intelligence in marketing restricted. He’s joining 25 other Attorneys General in asking the FCC to limit the use of A.I. technology by telemarketers. Jackley said the calls manipulate and harm consumers by sounding like a real person, and the “federal government needs to act.”
