State Launches New Community Development Office

(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota is launching a new effort to enhance the quality of life. Governor Doug Burgum gave his final State of the State address yesterday, where he announced the start of the Office of Community Development and Rural Prosperity. The goal is to empower neighborhoods through economic growth, while addressing challenges in rural and urban areas. During its first year, the group will focus on securing grant funding, collaborating with local agencies, and determining the needs of residents.
