(Helena, MT) — Montana Governor Greg Gianforte is criticizing President Biden over what was described as a “national security crisis” at the southern border. Gianforte joined two dozen other governors yesterday in a letter to the administration, saying it has “attacked and sued Texas for stepping up to protect American citizens.” The governors argued the Biden administration hasn’t enforced any laws on the books and “illegally allowing mass parole across America of migrants.” They added states have the right to self-defense, which the governors believe Texas is doing, and cited a clause in the U.S. Constitution that allows for it.
