(Pine Ridge, SD) — A Pine Ridge man is guilty of murdering an Oglala Sioux Tribe firefighter. J.T. Myore stabbed Leon Lakota to death and left his body on the side of a road in May of 2021. Myore is now headed to federal prison to serve 48 years for the murder, along with other crimes after his sentencing this week.
