(Grand Forks, ND) — A teen is in custody after he alleged killed a man with a knife before dawn on March 7th. Police say a witness used their phone to record the event, which happened around 3 a.m., on video. Department sources say the victim, ID’d as 24-year-old Anfernee Economy, was declared dead at the scene after suffering wounds to his upper torso. If convicted, the 17-year-old suspect reportedly could face life in prison without the possibility of parole. A court date is pending.
