(Dickinson, ND) — A suspect is in custody following a high-speed car chase in Dickinson on Monday. Police say an officer tried to make a traffic stop on 6th Avenue West after he spotted a vehicle wanted in connection with a burglary investigation, but the driver took off. The suspect, identified as George Ross Hanna, allegedly sped through Dickinson as he tried to get away from pursuing officers, avoiding a blockade and at one point crashing through a fence. The chase came to an end after the vehicle got stuck in a ditch, and Hanna was arrested. Police say he already faces burglary charges, and more charges are possible.
