(Sioux Falls, SD) — Neighbors who responded to the Saturday morning fatal crash are being advised to seek council help. Mental health professionals say life will change for those who saw the crash scene. Kade Golden told KELOLAND News, “I just could not believe my eyes, They were scattered all across the road, one in my yard, one a few feet away, a girl on the side I mean it was awful.” The SUV the teens were in hit a tree then crashed into a house and as a result, most of the teenagers were thrown out the car. Eric Hopkins and Milana Reeves, both 15-years-old, died at the scene while five others were injured. Mental health professionals say the way to get past trauma is to talk about it and to avoid numbing the feeling with drugs or alcohol.
