Smoke From Canadian Wildfires Drifting Into North Dakota

news

(Bismarck, ND) — Smoke from wildfires in Canada is again drifting into North Dakota this year. Many people across the state noticed hazy skies on Monday, and experts say the current wind pattern is pulling the smoke south into the U.S. The air quality in the Bismarck area Monday morning was considered “unhealthy” for those in sensitive groups, such as people who suffer from asthma. While the smoke has caused air quality issues in North Dakota, the worst air quality impacts have been in Minnesota.
