(Bismarck, ND) — A petition that would give North Dakotans a chance to vote on legalizing recreational marijuana now has more than half the signatures needed to make it on the ballot. It needs 16-thousand signatures by July 8th before voters can have their say. Proponents say legalization will bring both health and economic benefits to the state. Attempts to legalize recreational marijuana in North Dakota in 2018 and 2022 failed.
