SDSU Team Finishes Third At NASA Competition

(Cocoa Beach, FL) — A team of South Dakota State University students is back from Florida after a third-place finish in an aerospace competition run by NASA. The team was in Cocoa Beach competing in NASA’s Revolutionary Aerospace Systems Concepts – Academic Linkage event. The team’s project involved ways to explore lunar craters for water and ice. The students’ design for the equipment took the top prize for Best Prototype.
