(St. Francis, SD) — A St. Francis man has been sentenced to five years in federal prison after pleading guilty to assault charges. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, 25-year-old Charles Cordier will also have three years of supervised release. Cordier was charged after hitting a man with a bar last February. Then a month later, he shot a man in the arm during an argument.
