Drought Diminishing In All But Ten Counties

(Bismarck, ND) — Day by day North Dakota is coming out of dry and drought conditions. In the latest drought monitor report released, just over six percent of the state is considered abnormally dry and two-point-two percent is in moderate drought. The counties affected are all in far western North Dakota. The U.S. Drought Index combines multiple drought indicators like soil moisture, temperature and precipitation to determine drought conditions.
