(Hartford, SD) — Fireworks are believed to be the cause of an early-morning house near Hartford. Crews responded to a home in the area of East Shore Place around 3 o’clock this morning. They say a detached garage was fully-engulfed, and the fire was working its way to the main structure. Residents were evacuated safely. The Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
