(Harvey, ND) — Harvey interim Chief of Police Travis Carlson, three officers, and an office assistant have resigned from the department. Their resignations come after accusations of a lack of oversight, valid cases being dismissed, and allegations of Mayor Dean Kleir “bullying” the department. Chief Carlson says he and his fellow officers would consider returning to their positions if there’s a change in leadership.
