(Washington, DC) — Minnesota Congressman Dean Phillips isn’t saying “I told you so” following calls for President Biden to pull out of the race for the White House. Phillips challenged Biden briefly in the Democratic presidential primaries, saying the President should step aside for a younger candidate. Phillips was asked yesterday if he felt any vindication now that there are new calls for Biden to withdraw from the race. Phillips said, “If this is vindication, vindication has never felt so unfulfilling.” He also did not call for Biden to withdraw, but said he plans to make his position clearer in the next few days.
