(Algona, IA) — A 43-year old of first-degree murder in the shooting death of an Algona Police Officer. He is facing life in prison and sentencing is scheduled for August 21. The shooting occurred when the officer attempted to arrest the suspect on a harassment charge. The shooter shot the officer eight times and them attempted to shoot himself but ran out of bullets. The courtroom was filled with Cram’s family and supporters, who were relieved to see justice.
