(Bismarck, ND) — The Bismarck skyline will look a bit different soon following the demolition of a decommissioned water tower. The old water is located along Avenue F, and it was built in 1938 before being decommissioned in 2003. The demolition process began Tuesday morning, and once the tower is torn down, it will be cut into pieces and the scraps will be hauled away. The city plans on building a cell phone tower at the former site of the water tower.
