Bismarck Agencies Battling Homelessness

(Bismarck, ND) — Several agencies in Bismarck are coming together to help combat homelessness. The North Dakota Housing Finance Agency awarded federal and state funds to the Abused Adult Resource Center, Youthworks, the United Way Emergency Shelter, and other local non-profits. The money will go toward food distribution, street outreach, emergency shelters, and support services. More than one-point-eight-million dollars in funding was given to 18 organizations throughout North Dakota.
