Bismarck Murder Suspect Deemed Competent For Trial

(Bismarck, ND) — A Bismarck man accused of murder and other crimes has been found mentally competent to stand trial. Timothy Two Horses was arrested earlier this year after investigators say he stabbed Ernest DeWayne Ells to death inside an apartment. The deadly stabbing allegedly stemmed from a dispute over drugs. Two Horses was sent to the North Dakota State Hospital in Jamestown for an evaluation, and the results determined him to be competent. His trial is set for early November.
