(Sioux Falls, SD) — A 19-year-old Harrisburg man could spend the rest of his life in prison after being accused of raping a 12-year-old. Peyton Roelfsema has been charged with two counts of rape, one in the first degree and the other in the second. According to the Lincoln County state’s attorney, Roelfsema is accused of using his fingers to penetrate the 12-year-old victim while in the presence of a ten-year-old. The maximum sentence for these charges is life in prison. The suspect’s being held in Minnehaha County Jail on one-hundred-thousand dollars cash-only bond.
