Woman Hit By Motorcyclist At Sturgis Still Unresponsive

(Rapid City, SD) — The family of a Colorado woman says she is still on life support after getting hit by a motorcyclist last weekend at Sturgis. Aaften Westbrock was struck by the motorcyclist late at night on August 9th at the Buffalo Chip campground. In a Go-Fund-Me post, Westbrock’s father said she “still has reflex,” but added she’ll be unresponsive for “quite a while.” She is in the ICU at Monument Healthcare in Rapid City. According to the Meade County Sheriff’s Office a North Dakota man has been charged with vehicular battery and DUI.
