BNSF Railway Bridge Project Continues, Crews Working Double Shifts

(Bismarck, ND) — Construction crews are working double shifts as the BNSF Railway bridge project continues over the Missouri River between Bismarck and Mandan. Officials say the double shifts are necessary to keep the project on track. Crews are currently removing river bottom material to make way for a pile to be installed for a new pier, which has to be completed before winter. Work will temporarily stop this winter before the project resumes this spring.
