(Rapid City, SD) — Rapid City Police say the 13-year-old who was shot on Monday has died. Xavier White Whirlwind died at the hospital on Wednesday evening, according to police. Whirlwind was found Monday with a gunshot wound at a residence on East Fairlane Drive in Rapid City. No suspects have been named, but police did identify two individuals who may have information about the shooting. Anyone who knows the whereabouts of 16-year-old Tyrell James Yellow Thunder and 20-year-old Loretta Elizabeth Bettelyoun is asked to contact the Rapid City Police Department.
