Busy Weekend for College Football in the Dakotas

(Fargo, ND) — It is going to be a busy weekend for college football as the season gets into full swing for week number two. On Saturday afternoon, North Dakota State will try to improve to 1-1 after last week’s 31-26 road loss to Colorado as they welcome Tennessee State to Fargo. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. at the Fargodome.
South Dakota State opened its season last week with a 44-20 loss at FBS 18th-ranked Oklahoma State. The loss was the Jackrabbits’ first since dropping the 2022 season opener at Iowa. The Jackrabbits will try to extend their 29-game winning streak against non-FBS opponents Saturday at home against Incarnate Word. Kickoff is 6 p.m. at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium in Brookings.
North Dakota will look to move to 1-1 as they host Montana at the Alerus Center on Saturday night. The Fighting Hawks opened the season with a 21-3 loss on the road to Iowa State. It’s a 6:00 p.m. kickoff in Grand Forks tomorrow night.
South Dakota travels to Madison, Wisconsin for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff with the Wisconsin Badgers. The Coyotes are fresh off a 45-3 victory over Northern State last week.
