Twins Get Walked Off By Guardians

(Cleveland, OH) — The Minnesota Twins wrapped up a pathetic series against the Guardians with a 3-2, ten-inning loss at Progressive Field. Minnesota’s feeble offense managed just three hits in the losing effort, and Caleb Thielbar was charged with his fourth loss in relief after giving up a walk-off single to Andres Gimenez in the tenth. Minnesota did not register a single hit off of Cleveland’s bullpen. The Twins are now tied with Detroit for the final AL Wild Card spot at 80-and-73. David Festa starts for Minnesota against Boston tonight.
