(Willmar, MN) — A motorcycle rider is facing charges in Kandiyohi County after a high-speed weekend pursuit. A deputy tried to pull over the unidentified rider early Sunday morning near Highway 23 and County Road Nine. The driver refused to stop and reached speeds of over 130 miles an hour during the pursuit. The rider left the highway in Willmar and the deputy stopped the pursuit due to safety concerns. Police later found the rider hiding behind a building and charged him with fleeing an officer, reckless driving, speeding and underage drinking and driving.
