(Minot, ND) — Minot Police are identifying the suspect accused of violently assaulting a 28-year-old woman over the weekend. A post on the Minot Police Department Facebook page says Troy Edward Sanders is facing multiple felony charges, including two counts of attempted murder and four counts of terrorizing.
Sanders allegedly had his arm around the woman’s neck and was threatening her life when police arrived. Witnesses told police he was also threatening three young children, allegedly choking a four-year-old until the child went limp and throwing the child to the ground. Police called the woman “Jane Doe” and referred to the children as “family members.” They were all being evaluated at Trinity Hospital.
