(Vermillion, SD) — South Dakota State stays at number one, while South Dakota moves up a spot to number five in this week’s FCS Coaches Poll. Both the Jackrabbits and the Coyotes wrapped up non-conference play over the weekend with lopsided wins. The Jackrabbits have this weekend off before opening Missouri Valley Football Conference play October 5th at Northern Iowa. The Coyotes host 17th-ranked Southern Illinois Saturday afternoon at The Dakota Dome in Vermillion in the M-V-F-C opener for both teams.
