(Grand Forks, ND) — Grand Forks is getting a federal grant of nearly three-and-a-half-million dollars to redevelop the Greenway along the Red River. The grant from the National Park Service will be used to redevelop the Greenway’s recreational features in the downtown area. The Grand Forks project is one of two federal grants being awarded in North Dakota this week. The Turtle Mountain Family Recreation Area was awarded a one-million-dollar grant.
