(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins are nearing elimination following an 8-6, 13-inning loss to the Miami Marlins at Target Field. The Twins gave up three runs in the top of the 13th during the loss. Carlos Correa homered in the losing effort, while Scott Blewett was charged with his first loss out of the bullpen. The Twins are three games back of Kansas City and Detroit for the final AL Wild Card spot at 82-and-77. Pablo Lopez starts for Minnesota against the Orioles tonight.
