(Yankton, SD) — A five-year-old girl was killed after being struck by a car in Yankton. Authorities say a truck re-entering the roadway on East 19th Street near Mulberry Street and struck the child while she was crossing the street. The child was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. The names have not been released pending notification of family.
