(Grand Forks, ND) — Elected officials and business leaders are celebrating the opening of the crosswind runway at Grand Forks International Airport. The runway has been reconstructed and extended in a 70-million-dollar project that took years to complete. At a ribbon-cutting ceremony yesterday, Republican Senator John Hoeven said the runway was much needed because Grand Forks is one of the top 25 busiest airports in the United States.
