(Sioux Falls, SD) — Attorney General Marty Jackley and the state’s Board of Regents announced they are filing a motion to have their lawsuit against the NCAA heard in state court. The announcement comes in response to a motion filed by the NCAA to move the case to a federal court. Jackley and the Board of Regents filed their lawsuit against the NCAA in September alleging that a proposed settlement would leave smaller schools, like South Dakota State University and the University of South Dakota, responsible for a disproportionate share.
