(Pembina, ND) — The U.S. Border Patrol says it’s seen a “significant increase” recently in illegal border crossings at the North Dakota-Canada border. A Facebook post from the U.S. Border Patrol’s Grand Forks Sector says agents in Pembina intercepted eight Romanians trying to cross illegally in a pickup truck in early November. Border Patrol also posted that it’s seized ten illegal vehicles since October 1st. They’re asking communities to report any suspicious activity.
